Ligue 1 DLS Logo — Dream League Soccer 2026/27 Logos (512×512 PNG)

If you look for a Ligue 1 DLS logo, you’ll most likely find PSG. All other French clubs are treated as afterthoughts, which is strange as there are many people that form a Marseille side or a Lyon side. All 18 clubs are listed below, they’re all 512×512 PNGs, and they’re all direct urls for Dream League Soccer.

All badges are 512×512 PNG and transparent background. The 512×512 size requirements explain why the game won’t accept any other sizes.

The PSG Ligue 1 DLS logo

It’s the Paris Saint-Germain badge that most people come here for and it’s the only French crest that’s well served elsewhere. But, it’s important to know what you’re copying, though.

PSG won the 2025/26 title, their 14th. The shape of their crest is a circle — Eiffel Tower above, cradle below, club name around the rim — and it’s not just a shape, it’s a very significant shape. All the badges you import into Dream League Soccer get cropped into circles. A round crest that is fed into and leaves unaltered. In addition, the PSG badge looks better in-game than crests created on pointed shields, as there’s no loss at all.

The problem with the other pages of PSG you’ll find out there is age. At least one of them is still registered for 2024-25. When the crest of a club changes, a two-season-old page continues to display the old crest and there is no indication on the page.

Why Ligue 1 only has 18 clubs

Most people think that 20 is the correct number, since England, Spain and Italy all have 20. France has no plans to reduce the number of clubs in Ligue 1, and it hasn’t since 2023/24 when the league was reduced from 20 to 18. A year later, it was followed by the creation of the Ligue 2.

This is different when it comes to relegation. The two clubs drop off without any action. The 16th placed side doesn’t drop straight down, but plays a two-legged playoff with the third placed side of Ligue 2, with the winner securing the Ligue 1 spot.

Last season demonstrated what that is. Nice finished 16th, and then beat Saint-Étienne 4-1 on aggregate in the play-off to keep them up. Saint-Étienne rode a two-legged finish to a Ligue 2 status.

If you are a French football fan, you will be pleased to know that one more change has occurred, the Championnat National (3rd tier) will be called Ligue 3 from this season onwards. The pyramid is now changed to Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Ligue 3.

The practical version is short for a DLS player. Not 20, but 18 badges to collect, and one of those 18 is traded every play-off year.

What changed for 2026/27

Two clubs up 2 clubs down and one of the arrivals is a long time gone.

Le Mans have returned to the top flight for the first time in 17 years. Their crest hasn’t been used on a Ligue 1 badge since about 2009, so that is a pretty rare collection to feature a DLS crest. This is almost the only place where a Le Mans badge is to be found as a Ligue 1.

Troyes emerged as champions of Ligue 2, after three years down.

The reverse side, Nantes were relegated for the first time after 13 seasons in the top flight. Eight league championships, one of the biggest in France and now a club in the Ligue 2. Metz was also gone, following a single-season stint as an up-and-comer.

Any list with Nantes or Metz in the main grid of a Ligue 1 logo list is a season late.

French crests are built for this game

This is one thing that only becomes apparent after importing badges from multiple leagues. French crests are the ones that have withstood Dream League Soccer the most.

French teams had a period of rebranding with a minimum of effort, and it turns out this is exactly what this game is looking for. Flat colour blocks. Few thin lines. The shapes that stay together when the badge is reduced to the size of a thumbnail next to the score.

The most obvious is Marseille. Their crest is a sort of OM monogram and virtually nothing in it can be ruined. Monaco is a bold red and white diamond shape, two colours, one shape, readable at any size. The above circle in PSG does not lose anything to the crop.

Compare that to Germany where founding years and full club names are printed right on the club badge. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. 1. FSV Mainz 05. The lettering on the shirt is all readable, and is entirely missing in the match HUD. German crests are the opposite of French crests: some good, some bad.

If you’re creating your own badge, and not using a club crest, then you should study the Ligue 1 badge.

General rules on the crop are in the main guide in the circle crop section.

Former Ligue 1 clubs

The badges that are relegated are imported just like current badges. Dream League Soccer will accept any 512×512 web address, and will ignore the division a club is in.

It will be Nantes that everyone will be interested in as it is a large club and had been a top flight match for more than 10 years. Saint-Étienne is a club worth having, France’s most-trophied club in terms of league titles, and they’re always looked for, wherever they’re playing. The recent exodus continues with Metz and Reims.

They are not in the main grid because there is nothing wrong with the files, but because the 18 above are needed to keep it accurate.
